And how do we feel now?

So, no outright judgement, just the veiled kind, like your post?

How is there any veiled judgment? Because I request people not being assholes for the sake of arguing?

hmmm... Was near there, freshman year for me. I'm a metal head. Have friends as the same. Lots of black and what not. Caught flak for years because of those two. So they were trivialized? So they were hurt? So were we. We didn't blow people away and make hell for others. They were deranged, and yes, deserve sympathy for that. But they're gone and good riddance. And their parents who didn't even know about the bombs on the bedroom floor outta be strung. Three groups are guilty: The people who mock, the people who shoot, and the people who ignore. Guilt shall not, in my mind or in the minds of thousands of others, ever be ignored, though their reasons are understood.

i fail to see the relevance.
but find it very interesting that the subject of columbine is automatically linked to just the killers, at least the points you chose to cover.

as for the bombs on the bedroom floor... ever think that perhaps, these were recorded by police after the two kids had already killed everyone. by this i mean, why on earth would they put everything back into hiding if they were 30 minutes away from their 'mission'? i think it was more of a get ready, get out, and get it done with. that sort of would be the point where they would not care about hiding anything anymore. regardless, my parents and i have a wonderful relationship and they don't know half of what is in my room. i could have drugs packed away, or even in plain view! and it would go unnoticed... why? because my parents have enough trust instilled within me that there is no reason to "search" or be "suspicious" over anything that i have. the boys praised their parents and said they were wonderful... i'm pretty sure the last thing on their minds was their son killing themselves, and a part of their student body. as a parent, it isn't something you think of your child being capable of.
